ABOUT US Welcome to the Balkan Theological Faculty! We welcome you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and in the name of the Union of Christian Baptist Churches in Serbia and in this way we want to introduce you to BTF and awaken in you a desire to join us in the study of the Word of God. The BTF was founded under the guidance of the Lord Jesus Christ, who deeply professed us in our hearts that this kind of Bible education, which is both practical and academic, is needed by today's spiritual leaders in our churches in Serbia. A healthy Bible study and a strong will for mission work is what we want to achieve at BTF. There are fewer workers for the Lord and there is a growing mission field. Through BTF we want to change this and to awaken young people and encourage their zeal for the Lord. Balkan Theological Faculty exists to train young people for service enshrine the great commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28). We want to encourage you from the first day to be students who will "change the world". First, change your personal world by knowing God's call into service, then change the world around you preparing for service, and then go and change the world for Christ! BTF is a mission oriented faculty at the academic level and if you feel that God is calling you or has already invited you to work, this is the right place for you where you can crystallize your call, establish it, and experience where God wants you to serve Him. The call from the Lord in service is very important and in the first place! In order to be ready to respond to the call, we fully believe that Healthy Theological Education is very important. Some of you already serve in the church, but you need a deeper Bible education with emphasis on mission work then BTF is the right place for you! BTF is a place for those who are visionaries; those who see the great image of God's work and want to be part of it. A place for active and inspired Christians who want to learn to serve Christ, and for those who want to improve their already existing service and to change the world for the better for Christ. BTF is not exclusive with regard to the denomination or the church you belong to, so we want to cooperate with all churches and to provide academic and practical training to all those who value highly theological education. Let us go on together! SOLI DEO GLORIA! The Gospel Coalition of Southeastern Europe in partnership with Balkan Theological Faculty and Project Timotej was organized from 28.10.-30.10.2022. International Christian conference under the slogan Good News: Solus Christus . Over two hundred participants from almost all parts of Serbia, and from the region (North Macedonia, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Bulgaria, USA...) were present. Three days of inspired sermons from the Epistle to the Colossians, spiritual messages and encouragement united the conference participants around the Gospel and the Lord Jesus Christ. It was an opportunity to exchange experiences in missionary work, promote the latest Christian literature, and at the same time, the participants recalled the importance of the Reformation, which returned the Bible and the good news of Gods grace through Christ to the pedestal of Christian values. We thank all the participants of the Conference for coming, believing that it was not just a formality, but an event that inspired you to be closer to Christ and to preach the Good News of salvation, which Europe desperately needs, with passion. Blessed and beautiful time on BTF, with very interesting lectures. Our main event today was diploma awarding to BTF first generation graduates. Evangelization - Niš 2019. Wonderful and blessed evening organized by BTF with its students. There were around 150 people present. 24 people responded to the call to give their hearts and souls to God ... Glory to the Lord! Professor Dr Meine Veldman - cooperation with FTE - ACADIA Professor Dr Michael Erickson (Crossroads Bible Institute - Maryland USA) about BTF (Balkan Theological Faculty) Nick Vujičić about BTF (Balkan Theological Faculty) A new generation of BTF students Jubilee Conference "500 Years of Reformation" was held on October 31, 2017 at the Balkan Theological Faculty in Nis. All five Protestant communities from Niš participated in the organization. The lecture was held by Dr. Robert W. Oliver, a longtime pastor, author of many Theological Books and Professor of "History of the Church" at the University of London. Several Protestant churches from all over Serbia participated in the program.

DESCRIPTION OF THE CURRICULUM Balkan Theological Faculty, Niš Serbia Academic title: Graduate Theologian Duration of studies: 8 semesters / 4 academic years THE CURRICULUM OF ACADEMIC STUDIES OF THEOLOGY The curriculum consists of four main areas: A. Bible and Doctrinal Studies B. Mission and Evangelism C. Preaching and Pastoral Service D. Biblical Languages and New Testament Theology Areas of the curriculum are not divided into years, but each year contains subjects from each field.

CONDITIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF THE BASIC TEOLOGICAL STUDY PROGRAM In the first semester of basic theological study program can enroll all persons (men and women) with secondary education for a period of four years. The requirement for enrollment in the basic study program Theology at the Balkan Theological Faculty in Niš is the desire or need for theological education recognized by the local church that sends the student. The student must have at least two recommendations from his Pastor or local community who sends him from the church deacon or elder. Priority for enrollment is given to persons who feel a direct call from the Lord of the pastoral ministry. Also people who are already in service (pastors, missionaries, church planters, teachers nedelnjih school) who lack a theological education and training. In the event that a person does not belong to any Evangelical or other Christian Church and has the desire to study, BTF will schedule an interview and suggest certain steps. Necessary entry documentation: - High school diploma - Birth certificate (not older than 6 months) - Two photos (passport size) - Filled forms for enrollment and recommendations (obtained from faculty) - Health certificate * If the student has not completed the IV level of secondary school, it is necessary to enroll it (part time) and to complete it during the first year of studies at BTF.

Emanuel Ralević, M.Div Rođen 1977. godine u Sev. Makedoniji, gde je njegov otac 7 godina bio pastor kao misionar iz Srbije. 1980. njegovi roditelji sa četvoro dece vratili su se u Srbiju u grad Niš i osnovali Hrišćansku Baptističku crkvu, prvu evanđeosku crkvu u gradu. Emanuel je odrastao u hrišćanskoj porodici i krenuo putem svog oca budući da ga je Gospod pozvao u pastoralnu službu. Oženjen Jelenom i ima dva sina. Kao mladić Emanuel odlučuje da stekne dublje teološko obrazovanje u skladu sa svojim pozivom: 1996/1997 European Missionary Fellowship, School of Biblical Studies, Welwyn UK 1998/1999 Internation Baptist Lay Academy, Budapest Hungary 2001/2004 Tyndale Theological Seminary, Badhoevedorp, Holland Od 2004. godine Emanuel je uključen u punovremenu pastoralnu službu u Hrišćanskoj Baptističkoj crkvi, u Nišu. Od 2014. godine Emanuel kao jedan od osnivača Balkanskog teološkog fakulteta u Nišu, vodi fakultet kao Dekan i Generalni sekretar i koordinira misijski rad na jugu Srbije. Emanuel predaje NZ predmet „Uvod u Novi Zevet“. Hrišćanska Baptistička crkva i Balkanski Teološki Fakultet rade pod Savezom hrišćanskih Baptističkih crkava u Srbiji i kao član odbora Emanuel blisko sarađuje sa Evanđeoskim Protestantskim savezom Srbije čiji je i član. Born in 1977 in North Macedonia where his father was a pastor for 7 years sent as a missionary from Serbia. In 1980 his parents with 4 children moved back to Serbia to a city of Nis, south Serbia and started Chirstian Baptist Church, first evangelical church in the city. Emanuel grew up in a Christian family and followed the path of his father being called by the Lord into pastoral ministry. Married to Jelena and have two sons. As a young man Emanuel decides to gain deeper theological education in accordance with his calling: 1996/1997 European Missionary Fellowship, School of Biblical Studies, Welwyn UK 1998/1999 Internation Baptist Lay Academy, Budapest Hungary 2001/2004 Tyndale Theological Seminary, Badhoevedorp, Holland Since 2004 Emanuel is full time involved in Pastoral ministry at Christain Baptist Church in Serbia, Niš. Since 2014 Emanuel being one the founders of Balkan Theological Seminary in Niš, leads the seminary as Dean& General Secretary and coordinates its Mission work in South Serbia. Emanuel is teaching NT course „Introduction to the New Testament“. STATEMENT OF FAITH 1. The Scriptures We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, verbally inspired in the whole and in all the parts (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20–21). 2. God We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who created all things (Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 5:3–4; Hebrews 1:1–3; Genesis 1:1). We believe in the literal historicity of Genesis, including God’s creation of the material universe in six literal days, a literal Adam and Eve as the parents of all mankind, a literal fall, and a universal flood (Exodus 20:9–11; Romans 5:12; 2 Peter 2:5). We believe in the virgin birth, the sinless perfection, the bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven of Jesus Christ, and in His present life there for us as High Priest and Advocate (Matthew 1:20–23; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:24-25). We believe that God is eternal, immutable, unchangeable, and simple in His essence, whereby each of His attributes are equal and identical in essence. This means that God is not composite nor layered. All of God’s attributes or perfections are equal and identical in essence, whereby God’s character is such that He is loving, merciful, and just, yet God is wrathful and holy and opposes sin. 3. Man and the Fall of Man We believe that man was created in the image of God, that through his disobedience of God, he incurred both spiritual death (separation from God) and physical death as a consequence. Through Adam’s sin, man entered into a sinful state into which all people are born, consisting of the guilt of Adam’s first sin, and the corruption of man’s nature, such that man is wholly inclined to evil continually (Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 5:12–19; 7:15–21). 4. Angels We believe that God created sinless, spiritual beings called angels to worship and serve Him (Colossians 1:16; Isaiah 6:3; Hebrews 1:14). We believe that Satan and some of the angels became proud and were judged by God and that Satan now rules these fallen angels called demons (1 Timothy 3:6; Matthew 25:41; Ephesians 6:11–12; 2 Corinthians 4:4). 5. Salvation We believe in justification by God’s grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, according to the Scriptures, as the basis for one’s righteous standing before God. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified, born of the Holy Spirit and thereby become the children of God (Romans 5:8–9; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 3:24–26; John 3:3–6; John 1:12). We believe those born again by the Spirit of God have eternal salvation and their salvation can never be lost or taken away (Romans 8:28–39; John 10:27–30; Romans 5:1–11). 6. The Church We believe the Church is an elect company of believers baptized by the Holy Spirit into one body; its mission is to witness concerning its head, Jesus Christ, preaching the Gospel among all nations (Ephesians 1:3–4; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Acts 1:8). We believe that water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the ordinances of the Church in this age (1 Corinthians 11:23–26; Acts 2:41). We believe the Christian is not under the Law but that the grace of God is sufficient for the maintenance of a life of obedience to the Word of God (Romans 6:14; John 14:15; 2 Peter 3:18). We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells, seals, and gives spiritual gifts to every believer; and that He guides, fills, teaches, and enables every believer to do the will of God as the believer trusts and obeys the Spirit (Romans 8:9; Ephesians 4:30; 1 Corinthians 12:7–11; Galatians 5:16–18; Ephesians 5:18; 1 John 2:27). 7. Last Things We believe in the personal,physical and visible return of Jesus Christ, the final judgment and eternal state. The dead in Christ, the righteous will be raised for eternal life in Heaven in glorified bodies, and the unrighteous shall be cast in Hell for eternal punishment. (1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; Daniel 9:24–27; 1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10; Matthew 24:5–21; Revelation 6:1–19:21; Isaiah 11:1-10; Revelation 19:11–21; 20:1–3, 11–15; 21:1–22:5).

Master program Kao što smo već ranije najavili od 2024. godine krećemo sa implementacijom Master programa na Balkanskom teološkom fakultetu u Nišu. Master program će se realizovati u saradnji sa MINTS International Seminary iz Majamia – Florida (SAD), čiju diplomu će steći studenti koji završe ovaj program. MINTS u saradnji sa BTF-om obezbeđuje nastavni plan i program, visoke akademske standarde, i stručan profesorski kadar. Ovaj program je osmišljen kako bi zadovoljio potrebe pastorala i crkveno-misijskog rada u savremenom svetu. Što podrazumeva sticanje kompetencija neophodnih za propovedanje Evanđelja, staranje o vernicima, podučavanje osnovama vere i za vrednosno i etičko služenje savremenom društvu. Master program je zahtevan, temeljam i od neprocenjive vrednosti za pastorsku službu, jer priprema studente da služe Hristu i Njegovoj Crkvi kroz Biblijsku, iskustvenu i praktičnu službu. Nakon završenog master programa, student će biti u mogućnosti da se bavi detaljnom egzegezom Biblijskih stihova, koristeći stručno znanje o izvornim jezicima, istorijskim okolnostima, književnim i teološkim odnosima. Razumeće glavna pitanja u veri i životu sa kojima se Crkva suočavala tokom svoje istorije. Moćiće sistematizovati egzegetske, istorijske i teološke podatke u doslednu i koherentnu teologiju i objasniti kako se ta teologija primenjuje na lična uverenja i ponašanje vernika. Koristiće homiletičke veštine da objavljuje Reč Božiju Crkvi. Razviće efikasne pastoralne veštine u vođenju bogosluženja, podučavanju mladih, vršenju vođstva i administracije, javnom savetovanju sa propovedaonice i lično, te se uključiti u evangelizaciono misijski rad. Pravo upisa imaju sva lica sa završenim osnovnim studijama, prevashodno u teologiji a moguće je - uz prekvalifikacijske diferencijalne ispite - da se upišu i kandidati koji su završili neki od fakulteta iz društveno-humanističkih nauka. Prvo predavanje na Master programu počinje 29. januara 2024. godine, u prostorijama Balkanskog teološkog fakulteta. Predavanje će održati prof. dr Michael Erickson iz predeta Rimljanima poslanica. Zbog toga programi MASTER TEOLOŠKIH STUDIJA sadrži obavezne predmete i master rad, u ukupnom obimu od najmanje 120 ESPB bodova, za ukupno 4 semestra. Napominjemo da se na Fakultetu ostvaruju bodovi u skladu sa pravilima studiranja zasnovanim na Evropskom sistemu prenosa bodova (u daljem tekstu: ESPB bodovi), a koji označavaju koliko je student kvantitativno opterećen na Fakultetu. S obzirom da se Master program realizuje u saradnji sa MINTS International Seminary iz SAD, to moramo napomenuti da će na kraju studija biti prikazan i Američki sistem bodovanja tj. opterećenja studenta koji se uprošćeno može uporediti sa evropskim sistemom bodovanja na sledeći način: 1 U.S. kredit = 2 ESPB boda Ukupan broj bodova koji ostvarujete po semestru u Evropi je 30 ESPB bodova, dok je u Americi norma po semestru 15 kredita.
